BOOKING A SESSION
It’s best to reserve your session as soon as possible to ensure availability. Sometimes people cancel or there are openings close-in, so don’t hesitate to ask if you’re down to the wire! Lia has done many last-minute bookings and will do her best to accommodate. To book your session, just call, email or use the website contact page to submit your request. Your retainer fee will reserve a date on Lia’s calendar. Please see the pricing link for more on that.
AFTER YOU BOOK A SESSION
Once your session is reserved on Lia’s calendar, you will receive a Welcome packet via email. This is where we’ll get into more specifics on suggested clothing, tips and what to expect during & after the shoot.
LOCATIONS
Outdoor sessions are held during the warmer season (April-October) and timed in the early morning (by 9:00 am) or evening (approx. 2 hours prior to sunset). The timing is important because of the sun location overhead. There are many locations throughout town for outdoor photography and depending on time of year and conditions on the ground, we will come up with a great spot for your session. (Note: certain locations require a fee of $100+ so generally we avoid these places. Client is responsible for purchasing the waiver if location is strongly preferred.) Indoor sessions are primarily held in the colder season (November-March) and are generally held on location in clients’ homes and in some cases at Lia’s temporary in-home studio. Boudoir sessions are either held on location in clients’ homes or at an upscale hotel (depending on package purchased).
WEATHER
In the case of inclement weather we may need to reschedule your session. If this happens, I’ll call the morning of your session or sooner if possible to reschedule.
RESCHEDULING
If you or your chid is sick, PLEASE contact me to reschedule. If I am sick, I’ll respectfully do the same and give you as much advance notice as possible.
REFERRALS
On occasion we offer referral bonuses if you book a session and refer a friend. Ask about our referral program when you reserve a session.
